- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups cooked pasta (optional, like penne or egg noodles)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. - Cook the Steak or Beef

In the same skillet, heat the remaining olive oil. Add the bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms (if using). Sauté until tender, about 5–7 minutes. - Combine Meat and Vegetables
Return the cooked steak or beef to the skillet and mix with the sautéed vegetables. - Make the Cheese Sauce
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and heavy cream until smooth. Stir in half of the provolone (or mozzarella) and cheddar cheese. - Assemble the Casserole
- If using pasta, mix it into the meat and vegetable mixture.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the top, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.
- Add Optional Breadcrumb Topping
Mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole for added crunch. - Bake
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Tips:
- Swap beef with chicken or turkey for a twist.
- Add a drizzle of Worcestershire sauce for extra savory flavor.
- Serve with garlic bread or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
